Terms of Service — GoGet-a-Job (GGJ)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GoGet-a-Job (“GGJ”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using GGJ, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are

GGJ is currently in an early development phase and is operated by an individual developer:

2) The service

GGJ helps you track job applications and create/manage CV documents and related content. Some features may require a paid subscription.

GGJ may change, improve, or remove features over time.

3) Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity that happens under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

4) Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to GGJ (such as CVs, application notes, and library items).

You grant GGJ a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and provide the service to you.

You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to upload it.

5) AI features

If you use AI features, GGJ will process your inputs to generate outputs (e.g., CV suggestions or chat responses). AI outputs:

  • may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
  • should be reviewed by you before use
  • are provided “as is” without guarantees of correctness

You are responsible for how you use AI outputs, including anything you submit to employers.

6) Subscriptions, billing, and cancellations

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation flows are presented during checkout and in the customer portal.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

If you cancel, you may retain access until the end of your current billing period (depending on your plan and Stripe settings).

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law while using GGJ
  • Attempt to access other users’ data
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service
  • Upload malware or attempt to compromise GGJ or its infrastructure
  • Use the service for abusive, harassing, or fraudulent purposes

8) Availability and changes

We aim to keep GGJ available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we may provide a notice in the app. Continued use of GGJ after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9) Termination

You can stop using GGJ at any time. You can delete your account from the settings page.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, or if required for security or legal reasons.

10) Disclaimer

GGJ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GGJ and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

12) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
